Most brag about what a great job they do, but the truth is, there are no good reviews of these things by impartial 3rd parties.
As for the rest, listed above, it is safe to say that nobody who really knows what their doing with Macs and macOS will touch them. And please, at the very least make a full-disk backup before you go hacking around. In installed this garbage on 2 of my 3 Macs. It slowed them to a crawl and caused many programs to just freeze up.

I did and everything was running well! Just to check I could hardly believe that it was the cleanmymac software tbh I installed the cleanmymac software again and ran it - and my creative cloud stopped working again.
It is very clear that this is an issue that needs to be solved, what else is cleanmymac deleting that you would need? I paid already so that is wasted money but will be uninstalling the software today.

CleanMyMac still has one major problem that I have directly challenged the developer about since Catalina came out. This app cannot and will not maintain Full Disk access for any period of time no matter what you do! Follow all of their instructions, install, reinstall, authorize, reauthorize, it will not maintain full disk access.
