I don't know whats going on. Now I cant cant even get qbittorrent to close using the end process command with task manager. I have used qBittorent for some time successfully, but recently have experienced the same problem. I appear to be set up correctly but suddenly am getting 0 upload and 0 download speeds.
Although my computer registers clean when I do a thorough scan, I've noticed problems with other software programs not functioning correctly. Could I possibly have some type of virus that my Windows Defender is not picking up on? I've already removed malware with Malwarebytes. Cleared it out and started downloading again straight away. I still had a lot of space left on my hard drive. However, due to all the problems with my inability to download torrents and similar problems with everything else, I finally bit the bullet and reloaded Windows 10 from scratch, losing practically everything in the process, including important files that I thought were personal.
But I'm happy to report I'm recuperating and qBittorent is functioning again. I didn't realize that when you redo Windows 10, you lose all your online settings as well. What a pain in the posterior! Try changing the auto-assigned PORT to a random one - fixed the problem for me. Randomizing the port under connections instantly fixed this problem for me.

The powerful torrent client is loaded with tons of features which can be of great help to BitTorrent users from beginner to advanced level. It organizes torrent downloads in different categories and provides way more technical details than other BitTorrent alternatives such as WebTorrent. Users can find torrents using the inbuilt search box that opens a web browser.
While free Bittorent offers all the necessary features required, users who are allergic to advertisements can go for BitTorrent Pro which comes with customer support. The Pro version also offers access to the built-in media player, AV protection, and the ability to stream torrents as they download. But incomplete file download may interrupt your viewing. But there is nothing much to say about uTorrent as most of its features were already told when describing BitTorrent.
There is almost no difference between the two torrent downloaders in terms of looks except the logo and theme color and features offered. However, the thing that sets the two apart is the uTorrent web app. If you read our post on the best download managers for Windows, you might already be aware of BitComet.
While it can download regular stuff, the software is primarily designed to act as a torrent downloader for Windows. Other than basic torrent client features, there are a couple of things that BitComet touts as exclusive.
This facility helps when all the seeders go offline, and the torrent gets stuck. It also boasts intelligent disk caching, where frequently accessed data is cached in the main memory and the hard drive is disturbed less often, preventing any performance impacts.
Users having BitComet account can share their torrents not the files with each other. Another open source software among the best torrent client is Vuze. Vuze is a well-built torrent downloader that is feature packed, looks neat and tidy, but it is not as appealing to the eyes as Tribler or Web Torrent. It comes with built-in web and metasearch tools to keep users within the boundaries of the torrent software. A feature called Swarm discoveries suggest torrents similar to the torrents you download.
Vuze allows users to chat with other Vuze users and share torrents. It can also convert and transfer files directly to different devices and stream content to other device connected to the same LAN.
I'd also like to add I received an email from Cox shortly prior to my knowledge of this issue. The email was informing me I had excessive bandwidth usage and I was nearing my monthly bandwidth allowance. Since then I have upgraded my connection speed to directly increase how much data I am allotted to transfer. I have this same issue in 3. I am using public trackers and have 4 torrents up with low seeds and plenty of leechers but I can't get or maintain even one upload connection. My ISP is not interfering as far as I can tell.
I see them flash across the peers list for a second or two and they disappear. The network OK green light keeps toggling between that and a warning that I have no incoming connections.
The test says the port is open and the network is configured properly. I installed Vuze and configured it to use the same port as uT and on the very same torrents it seeds at very respectable speeds - after accepting over incoming connections for the 4 torrents I am trying to seed. In windows 7. I am downloading torrents from Dimeadozen. My uploading used to be stronger and almost continuous. Should I make any setting adjustments? Hey, sorry to resurrect an old thread but I'm having the exact same problem, just wondering if anyone found a solution.
Then when the torrent was finished upload speed suddenly went down to 0. I experimented with different settings, especially connected peers per torrent, max upload ratio, seeding tasks have higher priority, disk flush and everything else I could find in different guides to no avail.
Also, seeds have no need to connect to other seeds Traffic shaping equipment monitoring traffic patterns is also more likely to interfere with these connections.
Here in the USA, most of the major Internet Service Providers have been caught throttling traffic at one time or another. And BitTorrent traffic is frequently targeted for throttling. The result is slow, unreliable torrent downloads. And throttling is way more common than most people realize. How to fix: The only solution is to encrypt your torrent traffic. The best method is with a torrent-friendly VPN.
Some people have also reported success with the weaker in-client protocol encryption free.
